Day 48 Redux - Sewn on Tapes

After many days (months!) of silence, I finally am back with many books to share! Over the holidays I made seven (yes, 7!) sewn-on-tapes blank books for my nieces and nephews. I cranked out these books in about three days and made use of the craft store for supplies. Each books was designed specifically for one of my nieces or nephews. I chose colors they like (thus the proliferation of pink!) to make them happy. The covers are chipboard covered with scrapbook papers. I added decorative brads with Martha Stewart tags to the covers for a bit of decoration and to help the kids keep straight whose book is whose. The end sheets are solid-colored scrap-booking paper. Each book has six signatures with 5 folios each, is sewn on two tapes with kettle stitch at head, tail, and middle. Inside each book I clipped a small envelope that contains stickers.
